Hello !
Let's see, where do I begin! First -- thank you for stopping by today!

I am an artist who loves to create ethereal impressionist works of misty mornings, soft and subtle views of our forests, our meadows, and marshes. I also love drawing Nature’s fallen treasure. There is something so meditative to sit with a “stick” and a cup of tea for an afternoon and discover all its nooks and crannies.

I always felt that I was an Artist deep down inside. And it wasn’t until after a few business chapters that I finally took the leap to “create” full time. What I found was, I absolutely love working with my hands and problem solving. So, I replaced typing on the keyboard with pencils and brushes and replaced business jargon with color and paint.

In the beginning I had a parochial way of thinking about my art and how to go about it. Now after many, many projects, in a variety of media and genres, I find myself here, creating both realistic and impressionistic works and helping others to create, learn and grow.

I get to create, play, make mistakes, teach others, buy cool stuff and when I talk to others about my art, I light up!

As a tutor, I am honored to help others feel as I do and grow as a creative.
There is a quote by Rumi that so touched me the first time I read it “Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love It will not lead you astray.” I cannot not do this at this time in my life as I am drawn to create art and poetry.
My work is currently at The Gallery at York Hall in historic Yorktown, Virginia where I have been a featured artist since 2007. I also exhibit and have won a few awards!
Last, I post regularly on Instagram!
